I was just getting my regular 15 minute long interval breaks in between some studying. Yes, I do give my brain a rest after every 30-45 minutes with the books. Not having anything in particular to do during that period, I decided to Google my name out of some fun.

They were mostly results of my domain and social networking accounts until I saw something unusual and you would never have guessed what it was.

I was featured on FuckYeahDragonBoaters or FYDB in short. In case you are wondering whatever is FYDB, this was taken from their website:

FYDB showcases Singaporean men with amazing physique and a je nai se quoi for sports and fitness.

Well okay, that is nice to know. So they downloaded the photo of me from the River Hongbao 2011 post and cropped it. They could have at least taken a more flattering one as there is hardly any visible muscle definition in that photo except for my left bicep. The ones snapped during the holiday trip to Phi Phi islands would have no doubt been a far better choice.

Dragonboaters

I have been mistaken for a dragon boater countless times. Here is a recent happening at the gym which I thought I should share, a guy walked up to me while I was giving my hair a good styling:

Him: Excuse me, are you a dragon boater?
Me: No, I’m not.
Him: I thought I saw you at Kallang last Sunday.
Me: Oh.
Him: This is not a pickup line by the way.
Me: Sure.
*stranger walks away*

I got to admit the parting words were hilarious at best and was probably trying my best not to burst out in laughter. Certainly a post-workout moment for the keeping.
