I have finally been to the Infinity Pool. It is located on the 57th level of tower 3 and only accessible to Marina Bay Sands hotel guests. Each room access card allows entry for 2 guests. Yippee!

By the time we had checked into our room and settled down, it was near evening. What good would heading to the pool then be right? So we decided to leave it to the next day.

Infinity Pool at Sands Skypark

Even if there was a huge crowd, you will never have to worry about not having a bench to lay on. The entire area is filled with countless of them and there are poolside beds too. So not to worry, you are well taken care of.

In my bathrobe

The benefit of a hotel guest? I get to walk around in my bathrobe freely, no hassle that comes with needing to change out of my clothes. Towels are also provided when you enter the pool area.

Xinyi

As with getting into the water every time, I would slowly get used to the temperature. On this occasion, I needed slightly longer than usual. I’m not sure if it was due to the pool being situated so high up but boy was the water chilly cold!

Couple moment at 57 stories high

Say cheese!

One of the things I noticed was that people don’t actually swim (not many anyway), you could if you want to. Even for the adult pool, it was rather shallow that you could actually walk from one end to the other and still keep your hair mostly dry.

I did swim even if it was over a very short distance. It felt awkward throughout especially when I could probably walk, I still prefer swimming in deeper pools.

Against the lovely Singapore skyline

Panoramic view from the Infinity Pool

Need I say more about the view of the Singapore skyline from the Infinity Pool? In one word, breathtaking. It would no doubt be better at night but it would be rather challenging to capture its majestic beauty.

Enjoying the awesome view

Peace out

Caucasian with his DSLR in the water

People were in the pool with their DSLRs centimeters above the water and taking photos. Considering that most were entry bodies and granted they were pretty tough too, I was still surprised by how much they were risking.

I did not bring along my D700 even if it was weather-sealed and a tough cookie altogether. Am I the only one who loves my camera to bits? I could never bring myself to put it through any form of torture. The photos at the pool were taken using my partner’s Sony DSC-W350.

A good water massage

Then there were these benches where running water gushes out from behind. It packs a pounding blow and gives you a nice massage if you are in need of some pampering. Of course, this can hardly be compared to the professional ones.

Soaking in the jacuzzi

That is not all to the Sands Skypark. Just by the other side were 3 jacuzzis, 2 were functional. The tub was filled with foam and the water was warm and soothing to be in, especially coming from the pool which was the direct opposite. We were in luck too, there was no one in the jacuzzi so we could have the entire tub to ourselves.

View from the jacuzzi

Unfortunately, the view doesn’t in any way match up to the one at the pool. It was facing the Marina South area where many constructions were ongoing. Can you spot Marina Barrage?

Look at that facial expression

My face says it all. I was truly enjoying my time in the jacuzzi and nothing in the world could drag me out at the time. However, it is advisable not to stay in there for too long, you don’t want to get too dehydrated and possibly suffer from heat exhaustion.

I'm not leaning against the glass

My partner and I had such a great time at the Infinity Pool that we decided to return the very next day for one final dip before checking out of the hotel.

Being locals and staying in a hotel in Singapore , there was only one thing left to do. That is to pretend to be tourists, it should be good fun so stay tuned for all of that.
